Help & Guide

What every part of 5 Leads Focus does, how to work a lead end to end, and where to report a bug or request a feature. Click any item to expand it.

Getting started

The daily flow

Each day you work a focused set of high-potential leads rather than a giant list. Open the cockpit, scan new leads at the top, claim the ones you'll pursue, then work them through the pipeline. The goal is simple: turn scored leads into booked calls and wins.

Generate 5 leads

+ Generate 5 leads asks the research agent to discover a fresh batch of five scored target accounts for your vertical. There's an 8-hour rate limit per partner. Owners generate immediately; for members the request enters a queue that a background task processes (roughly every 6 hours) and then adds the new leads.

Lead scores & freshness

Every lead carries a priority score out of 100, built from five sub-scores — growth, urgency, fit, access, and logo value. Higher means a stronger retained-search opportunity right now. Cards also show a freshness chip (Today, N days ago) so you can spot what's new since you last looked.

Claiming a lead

Click to claim a lead and it becomes yours to work — it stays in your view and counts toward your pipeline. Unclaimed leads remain available to the team. You can archive a lead from your default view once it's no longer relevant.

Working a lead

Track this lead — status pipeline

Open a lead and use Track this lead to move it through the pipeline: New → Contacted → Call booked → Won (or Dead). The funnel and your performance metrics update from these statuses, so keep them current.

Channels & contact fields

When you log outreach, pick the channel — email, LinkedIn, website lead, phone, Dripify, paid LinkedIn ad, client referral, or Other (with your own label). You can also store a Shared Doc URL, the lead's LinkedIn, and a phone number; LinkedIn and phone sync two-way with the matching Contact so you only enter them once.

CRM activity log

Every touch you log appears in the lead's activity log. Entries show the full note (no more truncation) and are click-to-edit — open one to view or revise it. The log is your running history of how the relationship has progressed.

Schedule a follow-up

In Track-this-lead, set a follow-up date and confirm. The lead parks in the Follow-ups box until that date, then automatically returns to New tagged with an amber FOLLOW-UP badge so it resurfaces when you need it. Cancel anytime; changing the status manually clears the schedule.

Pre-meeting brief

When a lead's status flips to Call booked, the app can generate a concise AI briefing on the account and the people you're meeting, so you walk in prepared. (Requires the briefing feature to be enabled for the workspace.)

Pipeline & follow-ups

The funnel

The funnel summarizes your pipeline by stage and is clickable — select a stage to filter the list to just those leads. Use it to see where deals are concentrated and what needs attention.

Stuck / decay-watch leads

High-potential leads that have gone untouched for too long surface in a stuck leads panel so they don't go stale. You can release a lead back to the pool if you won't pursue it, freeing it for a teammate.

Contacts

Contacts list, manual add & export

Contacts is your persistent prospect list across all leads. It auto-saves when you mark a lead contacted, or you can + Add contact manually. Notes, tags, and archive are editable there, and you can export the list to CSV for reporting.

Winning & losing

Mark won

Mark won captures the structured story of the win — the trigger event, the type of search, the role title, and the computed cycle time — so the team learns what good looks like. Your recent wins also feed the Last 5 wins pattern chip.

Mark lost

Mark lost records why a deal didn't close — the reason, any competitor, and notes. This sets the lead to dead and keeps an honest record so the pipeline stays clean and the loss reasons are reviewable.

Performance

Quality Score & Competition mode

Your Quality Score reflects how well you work your pipeline — activity, momentum, triage progress, and outcomes — not just raw volume. Competition mode is an opt-in toggle that surfaces the vertical leaderboard and a Head-to-Head reply-rate comparison on each lead.

Performance dashboard leads & owners

The Performance view shows the vertical's aggregate funnel, a partner table with Quality Scores, the Hall of Wins, and a vertical-vs-vertical scoreboard. It's available to owners and to designated vertical leads.

Intel dashboards

Per-vertical Intel Dashboards

Intel opens per-vertical market-intelligence command centers — scored target accounts, signal taxonomy, persona libraries, role architecture, predictive models, and more. They refresh weekly from public research and feed enrichment into your daily leads. You'll only see the verticals you've been granted; use the in-dashboard switcher to move between them.

Owner tools owner only

Admin — members & verticals

The Owner panel manages teammates: which verticals each person can see (assigned verticals), who leads a vertical (unlocks the Performance dashboard for it), display names, and account merges for dual-login users. Members are invited via Supabase Auth, then sign up here.

Manual entry & enrichment quota

+ Add lead lets you enter a single lead by hand and optionally request agent enrichment (3 per vertical per ISO week). Manually added leads are tagged as such and excluded from Quality-Score gaming safeguards.
